The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for projects in various domains, including signal processing. Essential Job Responsibilities Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses cover all levels of total system product life cycle—from concept to disposal. Translates customer or product requirements into total systems solutions acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analyses, timeline analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition to translate requirements into hardware and software specifications. Minimum Qualifications 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years with Masters; 0 with PhD/JD; or High School Diploma/equiv with 9 years relevant experience. Interest in Radar or Electronic Warfare System design and/or testing. Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, and all aspects of test execution. Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and EW/Radar analysis tools such as MATLAB. Hands-on test, integration, and verification support across lab facilities requiring skills in algorithms, software, hardware, and networking. Support technical publications for customer releases, test planning, procedures, and reports. Support technical and functional leadership through risk identification. Willingness to travel for extended periods. Deployment times typically two to three weeks. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able and willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions. Clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced checks Secret clearance minimum to start Physical Requirements May require working in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environments. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
