As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization and implementation of major manufacturing and support processes primarily in the SMS department but may focus across the LaGrange, GA plant and GNW sector. You’ll work within the technical team structure supporting trial work, capital, and daily operations to the purpose of expanding our innovation capability, while providing flexibility and personal/organizational sensitivity. You’ll provide work direction to junior and senior technical employees, lead broader teams, other functional team members, co-ops, technicians, service providers, etc. In this role, you’ll report to the Engineering and Reliability Sr. Manager. In This Role, You Will
Provide manufacturing engineering leadership Use process control, data mining, metrics, scorecards, and statistical tools to facilitate process improvements Implement capital projects and programs related to regulatory, quality, energy, and statistical process control Identify and resolve process and equipment problems Initiate creative and practical design solutions which meet/exceed expectations Provide support for development of LEAN manufacturing principles Have Project responsibility up to $50M and Project team of 5 to 20 people Ensure work is documented and is retrievable About Us

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a variety of mill, plant and staff assignments Broad knowledge and significant experience in the technical and operations areas and a working knowledge of multi-functional issues Previous experience leading projects and teams in a manufacturing environment Ability to travel up to 10% - domestic travel Preferred
Experience using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PI Vision, OSI Asset Framework and JMP Total Benefits
