Location options include Roy, UT or Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. This position will support the Sentinel Program. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available. CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret. TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time. What You’ll Get To Do

This qualified candidate will support the Weapon System Design and Analysis Configuration and Integration team that focuses on managing the large Weapon System product baseline and all the numerous configurations. In this role the qualified candidate will serve as a program-wide liaison within the Sentinel design engineering community. They will connect the various major program segment systems through architecting the Weapon System drawing trees, managing the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM), architecting and applying product effectivity, developing system to system Installation and Assembly Product Definition Packages (PDP), and providing interpretation and guidance on design engineering process and procedure across the program. Provide functional design support on program design procedures and engineering model and drawing release. Participate in technical reviews of new and revised Division design processes and procedures in support of technical execution. Author program specific design and product baseline related processes and procedures. Support program-wide efforts to integrate the large supply base product baseline into the larger Sentinel CPLM Weapon System product baseline. Compile, prepare, and submit TDP related data in support of contractually required deliveries of Product Baseline related CDRLs. Benefits and Schedule

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Qualifications

These are the required and preferred qualifications: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD Must hold an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet business needs. 4+ years experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools 4+ years experience with 3D CAD modeling tools 4+ years experience developing and releasing engineering models and drawings 1+ years experience developing and releasing Model Based Engineering Digital Product Definition Packages Basic understanding of interpretation and application of GD&T Strong understanding of the ASME Y14 series of standards governing engineering modeling, drawings, and associated lists Experience authoring technical reports, procedures, and documents Ability to communicate across multiple major program segments, elements, and engineering functional groups for stakeholder engagement and collaboration Nice To Have

Experience with Teamcenter or Teamcenter CPLM Product Lifecycle Management Tool Experience with Siemens NX Experience interpreting DoD Data Item Descriptions with respect to preparing and submitting Contract Data Requirement Lists Strong knowledge of design engineering release procedures and configuration management practices Knowledge managing multiple product baseline Engineering Bill of Materials through effectivity management Ability to develop and implement solutions with minimal oversight Ability to manage complex special technical assignments under pressure from engineering leadership and program directors Salary and Equal Opportunity

Primary Level Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $178,800.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may apply. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and/or personal business.
