The Westin Dallas Downtown . **Job Description:** The Hotel Maintenance Engineer at The Westin Dallas Downtown is responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical plant and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as responding to emergency situations. The engineer must work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with hotel staff and guests. **Responsibilities:** Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Respond to emergency situations such as power outages, floods, and fire alarms. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer. **Requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
