About the role:
As a Production Supervisor at Skydio, you will be responsible for managing an end-to-end assembly and test line, producing the world’s most advanced autonomous drones. You will lead a team of up to 45 technicians and leads, working closely with the Planning Team to set production schedules, the Engineering team for troubleshooting and support, and the Inventory Control team to ensure the availability of materials to meet targets. This role emphasizes people leadership, fostering teamwork and accountability in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. How you'll make an impact: Balance capacity against demand to meet production goals and KPIs Recruit and manage assembly technicians Ensure adherence to approved processes (SOPs, Quality, Test, Defect Reporting and Tracking) Foster a learning and problem-solving environment Escalate issues to quality, supply, hardware, and software design teams as needed What makes you a good fit: Experience with electromechanical assembly and digital testing platforms Proficiency with software solutions (Jira, NetSuite, Slack, etc.) for work orders, production control, inventory management, and communication Highly organized with excellent communication skills Ability to lead short-term and long-term projects simultaneously Attention to detail, emphasizing quality and efficiency Drive for continuous improvement, building flexible and scalable solutions Compensation:
Skydio offers competitive base salaries, equity in stock options, and comprehensive benefits. The annual base salary range is $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience and location.
