Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Marketing and Technical Writer to manage all customer-facing documentation and communications. In this role, you will create and maintain product guides, update website content, manage social media channels, and coordinate trade show logistics. You’ll collaborate closely with our Technical Sales and Demo teams to ensure clear, consistent, and technically accurate messaging across all platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with technical acumen and basic graphic design skills, who can comfortably balance detail-oriented content work with creative marketing initiatives. This role is remote-friendly with a preference for candidates who can occasionally travel to or work from our Miami, FL office.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and maintain all customer-facing documentation (user guides, datasheets, FAQs, etc.)
Update and manage content on the company website
Create and schedule posts across social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
Coordinate logistics and materials for industry trade shows and events
Work with Technical Sales and Demo teams to align messaging and support sales efforts
Design and format marketing assets using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or PowerPoint
Produce marketing content such as newsletters, case studies, blog posts, and product announcements
Maintain consistent brand voice and technical accuracy across all communications
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in technical writing and/or marketing communications
Excellent written communication and editing skills
Experience working with website CMS tools (e.g., WordPress)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic graphic design ability using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
U.S.-based and available to travel up to 20%
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, or a related field
Experience in the power utilities, energy, or compliance software sector
Familiarity with NERC CIP regulations, cybersecurity, or physical access control
Ability to translate complex technical content into accessible, engaging materials
