Executive Recruiter at LHH specializing in Supply Chain and Engineering Direct-Hire Placement Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's organization in the Naperville, IL area. Key Responsibilities
Develop complete electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and BOM (Bill of Materials) generation, with consideration for EMI/EMC. Design and document robust hardware architectures and power path structures for high-reliability embedded applications. Lead component selection and optimization for microcontrollers and management devices. Perform worst-case circuit analysis and simulations using EMA tools. Conduct de-rating and power stack-up analyses. Provide sustaining support for existing products and ensure system-level integration and manufacturability. Conduct Electrical DFMEAs to ensure products meet customer specifications and requirements. Promote teamwork, learning, openness, and accountability within the engineering team. Mentor and provide technical reviews for less experienced engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and integration. Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced experience in electrical engineering, with strong circuit analysis skills. Proven expertise in analog/digital circuit design and power electronics. Experience with hardware architecture for embedded systems. Familiarity with battery management systems and/or charger design is preferred. Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools. Experience with DFM, BOM generation, and EMI/EMC considerations. Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience mentoring or leading other engineers is a plus. Benefits
