Overview

Staff Electrical Engineer - Water/Wastewater 1. Lead projects on the Industrial Manufacturing Solution team including manufacturing, ag/bio-process, and food/beverage industries. This role requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Industrial Manufacturing Solution team (manufacturing, ag/bio-process, and food/beverage industries). Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff supporting project detailed design. Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations. Lead the design of facility power distribution (Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control, Electrical Room Layout) and process electrical distribution (power and control wiring from control panel to equipment and field devices) in a manufacturing or industrial processing environment. Support business development, including proposal scope approach and estimating related to enhanced Electrical services. Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers. Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues. Coordinate with local electrical utilities on project technical needs. Review supplier submittals. Act as a liaison between the design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design. Startup and testing of major electrical equipment. Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

PE License, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline. Ability to lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing. Support business development, including developing scope-of-work, level-of-effort, and site visits to understand the scope of the pursuit. Strong leadership skills, with desire to train and develop early career and/or inexperienced professionals. Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in the home country or country where practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
