Popli Design Group . Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join our growing team. Description The Senior Substation Engineer will work within a multi-discipline team to design efficient and reliable electrical substations. Responsibilities include coordinating design activities to meet project schedules, assisting in estimating and proposals, and providing client-facing presence. Specific Duties Include: Design of electrical substations, including site layouts, ground grids, and control house design. Reviewing designs for code compliance and constructability. Performing site inspections and resolving site queries. Maintaining project documentation and coordinating with project teams. Mentoring junior engineers and developing design standards. Required Skills: Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Substation Design Suite (SDS), WinIGS, and CYMCAP is preferred. Strong client focus and knowledge of IEEE and ANSI standards. Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) License. Minimum of 7 years' experience in substation design. PDG is a reputable multi-disciplinary firm serving clients since 1982, with a diverse project portfolio across New York State. Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience.
