Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I
here at Honeywell, you will plan and design manufacturing processes for both existing and new products, determining the equipment and tools needed to meet product specifications. You'll maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization, while also supporting daily production activities. In addition, you will lead producibility improvement projects for new products in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will also contribute to the development and modification of manufacturing processes, define process equipment requirements and specifications, and review processing techniques and methods used in the fabrication and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLGs) and MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs). You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production. Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices. Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions. Assist development of new products. Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow. Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals. Test products & software. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Experience with data analysis and statistical process control. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. WE VALUE
