Licensed Vocational Nurse (On-Call) at the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living. On-Call: 0-8 Hours/Week. Pay Rate: $43.16/hour. This is a non-benefited role. The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is located in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood and includes the Frank Residences, the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation. The campus emphasizes dignity, compassion, and community and has a legacy dating back to 1871. What You’ll Do as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Provide efficient, safe, and high-quality care to residents through the nursing process. Support the interdisciplinary team by supervising nursing assistants, administering treatments and medications, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents. Deliver and oversee comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications and treatments, and assessing residents' conditions. Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed. Supervise nursing assistants and actively participate in resident care as required. Utilize available resources to ensure optimal care is provided. Maintain unit supplies and equipment and ensure they are readily available. Promote and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. Respond appropriately to resident and facility emergencies. Document care needs and interventions accurately in medical records and care plans; complete all required documentation related to assessments, care planning, physician orders, and evaluations. Maintain effective communication across nursing shifts, departments, supervisors, physicians, and resident families. Advocate for residents’ rights and report any signs of abuse or neglect. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control policies; maintain resident confidentiality and uphold professional standards. Assist with onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff and provide feedback for the evaluation of nursing assistants. Attend in-service education and training to support ongoing professional development. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations; accept reassignment as necessary to meet resident care needs. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program. Current and active LVN license in the state of California. Current CPR certification. Two years of acute or long-term care experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong commitment to quality patient care, safety, and professionalism.
