Workplace Coordinator position for Career Group in Palo Alto, CA. Our client develops opportunities and solutions in education, the environment, immigration, and health equity through philanthropy, creativity, and investments. This onsite role is 4 days a week with travel to various local events as needed. The role includes oversight of a summer internship program that helps underrepresented first-generation college students find internships in fields of their interest. The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience with event planning and coordination. Please note this is a 3-4 month contract role in Palo Alto, CA. Pay will be $35-40/hr Responsibilities

Onsite 4 days per week, potentially 5 depending on event schedules: Mon, Tue, Thu in Palo Alto; Fri in East Palo Alto or SF; Wednesdays are generally remote. In April/May, develop event briefs for programming Data management Surveying interns Onboarding for the program Keeping track of participants in Salesforce From June, back-to-back events for 10 weeks, typically professional development workshops (resume building, financial literacy, communication, public speaking); a large end-of-summer capstone event in August Assist with event setup and answer questions Help plan transportation to events when required Qualifications

EA experience or general administrative experience Some event coordination experience Very professional demeanor Strong desire to help young, underrepresented people advance in their careers We will consider qualified candidates in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
