Role The
Psych Safety Patient Care Tech
(CNA) is a critical part of the Patient Care Team and works in a collaborative relationship with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This certified role observes patients, provides basic nursing care, and maintains the patient environment in an outcome-oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective manner. This position will work in the float pool and function in 3 different capacities:
provide direct 1:1 patient observation
provide camera observation for patients
Act as a PCT on the unit as needed

Qualifications
Current Maryland CNA licensure is required.
American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
Prior Patient Care Experience Preferred.
High school diploma or GED is required.

Salary Salary Range: Minimum 18.00 per hour - Maximum 26.24 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
