Preston Pointe in Celina is an ideal location for a Livewell Animal Hospital, positioned along Preston Road with excellent frontage and easy access to US 380 and the planned Outer Loop. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas 4+ years of experience as a veterinarian required Leadership/management experience is a plus Ability to lead the team through a variety of cases Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets Compassionate team player who upholds a strong reputation with clients Comfortable providing (and teaching associate veterinarians) general surgery and dentistry procedures Partner & Lead Veterinarian Responsibilities

Build a strong client-first and collaborative practice culture Hire hospital staff (hospital manager, veterinary technicians, and other staff) in partnership with SVP talent acquisition and operational support teams Deliver excellent patient care and ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices Ensure doctors effectively communicate findings, diagnosis, and treatment plans, and educate clients on preventative care Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and up-to-date logs Monitor associate doctor performance and stay current with veterinary medicine through continuing education Develop the paraprofessional team to deliver quality care and exceptional client service Ensure all staff treat clients and patients with care and respect Partner with the Hospital Manager in managing hospital financial performance Represent the hospital positively in the professional and local community Partner & Lead Veterinarian Benefits
