As a Sr RF Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, develop, and test our complex products and technologies. These cover a very wide range from state of the art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll be responsible for Electronic Warfare (EW) systems analysis and design, radar propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, ELINT/SIGINT/ESM, and signal processing. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

The Advanced Concepts Development team within SNC's Multi-Domain Solutions group is looking for a highly motivated RF systems engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team executing a portfolio of small-scale research and development projects. The ideal applicant will have an eager problem-solving ability, a high degree of technical curiosity, and a product delivery mindset. Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience Self-starter able to operate independently Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams Effective, concise, clear verbal communication with customers and internal stakeholders Strong technical writing and presentation skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-expert audiences Good business acumen to articulate ROI, construct a business case analysis for a conceptual design, and design with affordability in mind A minimum of 2-years design and development expertise with at least one of the following types of RF systems: Electronic Warfare, ELINT/SIGINT/ESM, Radar, Signal Processing An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Qualifications We Prefer:

Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and project cost and schedule management Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers Familiarity with technical baseline definition including the use of trade studies, and analysis of alternatives, and make/buy evaluations. Familiarity with tools and techniques for rapid RF system prototyping, and Design for Manufacture (DFM) Experience with Ansys STK or AFSIM SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
