Overview
Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager, Rheumatology (HARTFORD, CT) at Vanigent. This field-based sales role is responsible for driving the sale and promotion of Lilly products within a distinct territory. Reports to the Vanigent Business Director, Rheumatology, and collaborates with Lilly to achieve sales performance through targeted customer engagements. You must live in the territory. Responsibilities
Perform all required duties in assigned territory, promoting aligned products within the Rheumatology selling team Adhere to internal policies and procedures and PhRMA code Meet or exceed account/call activity and time in territory targets Select and deploy HQ-approved educational programs and resources to address opportunities across target accounts and stakeholders Navigate a dynamic healthcare ecosystem (payers, health systems, business drivers) to gain access and impact patients Analyze sales data and recommend actions aligned to brand strategy Develop deep understanding of the disease state, products, marketplace and competitors Create customer value, demand, and advocacy for the brand Build and maintain relationships with decision makers to execute business unit/brand strategy Utilize marketing and selling materials for physicians, healthcare providers and clinic personnel Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage according to a plan of action Participate in training and development programs while adhering to policies Minimum Required Education & Skills
BA/BS Degree required 2+ years pharmaceutical sales Immunology experience preferred Documented sales success history Experience navigating complex accounts within integrated health systems Understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnights/weekends Background check and drug screening required Must live in the territory Proficiency with CRM platforms Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) Complete all company- and job-related training within required timelines Additional Preferences
Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) may be required depending on territory and customer needs Additional Information
