We fulfill our mission through counseling, education, and advocacy, primarily in the greater Minneapolis and St. Paul area. Since 1878, we have evolved to address the needs of vulnerable families and individuals. Provide quality evidence-based pediatric therapy services within the scope of Speech-Language Pathology standards of practice. Select, administer, score, interpret, and document appropriate standardized pediatric assessments. Document plans of care and daily progress in a timely manner in accordance with ASHA, DHS, and MDH guidelines. Manage and maintain physician orders to keep all clients current. Submit daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system. Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and parents. Discharge clients when they exit the program or reach maximal therapeutic potential. Qualifications
Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota. Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. At least 2 years of pediatric experience or equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience. Comfort working with at-risk clients, trauma survivors, diverse cultures and ethnicities, and non-English speaking households. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills; flexible and adaptable. ASHA membership. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and ability to meet driving record requirements. Note: If license is not Minnesota-issued, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident to apply for a Minnesota driver’s license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state). Fully in-person position with ability to travel within sites during the workday. Wages: $30.00 per hour; $1,000 hiring bonus after 3 months of employment. Employer-paid basic life insurance with option for additional employee-paid coverage. Employer pays for AD&D and short/long-term disability insurance.
