This position is fully in-person and listed as full-time but can be flexible to be between 20–37.5 hours per week. A Typical Day in the Life
Provide high-quality, evidence-based pediatric evaluation and treatment for 0–6-year-old clients Deliver therapy services at The Family Partnership’s East Lake Street site and local preschool sites in classrooms Administer, score, interpret, and document standardized pediatric assessments Provide medically necessary occupational therapy services within AOTA and The Family Partnership standards Document plans of care and daily progress in a timely manner per AOTA, DHS, and MDH guidelines Manage and maintain physician orders to keep all clients current Submit daily billing and progress notes through the EMR system Collaborate with inter-disciplinary staff and parents Discharge clients when they exit the program or reach maximal therapeutic potential Qualifications
Current OT license in Minnesota NBCOT certification Master’s degree or higher in OT from an accredited program At least 2 years of pediatric experience, or equivalent knowledge through alternative study or life experience Comfort working with at-risk clients, trauma survivors, diverse cultures and ethnicities, and non-English-speaking households CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible and adaptable Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet driving record requirements If license is not Minnesota-issued, must apply for Minnesota license/permit within 60 days of residency Note
