We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team and help guide our clinical staff in delivering exceptional care. Position Summary: The Director of Nursing will oversee the clinical operations of our home health agency, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while upholding the highest standards of patient care. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among clinical staff, patients, and families. Responsibilities
Provide overall direction and supervision of nursing and clinical services. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional growth and high performance. Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating clinical personnel. Monitor patient care plans to ensure appropriate, individualized, and high-quality care. Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to promote effective communication and continuity of care. Oversee QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) activities and participate in surveys and audits. Manage staffing levels and schedules to meet patient care needs. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas. Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in home health or related healthcare setting. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, OASIS, and home health compliance standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
