The work includes snow and ice removal as part of a seasonal operation. Positions are activated during winter conditions and may involve reporting to a designated work location within one hour of call. Duties are aligned with District 1 locations and may require operating winter maintenance equipment and performing related tasks as assigned. Qualifications

Transportation Generalist Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in snow/ice or related roadway maintenance activities; ability to read and interpret directions and keep records; good written and oral communication skills. Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no air brake restriction; tanker endorsement within 2 weeks of hire. Please state how you meet this requirement in your resume. Working knowledge of English to read, write, speak, and understand information; ability to communicate in-person or via two-way radio and maintain logs. Veterans may be eligible for a CDL waiver based on military experience; contact your CVSO for VMET DD2586. Transportation Associate Minimum Qualifications: Valid Class B CDL with no air brake restriction and tanker endorsement within 2 weeks of hire. Working knowledge of English to read, write, speak, and understand information; ability to communicate in-person or via two-way radio and maintain logs. Physical and Medical Requirements

Ability to work nights and in varying weather; operate motor vehicles on rough terrain; literate in English; ability to lift up to 50-70 pounds as needed; wear required personal protective equipment. Other Requirements
