Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of pharmacy services. Develop and implement performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics. Conduct competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Develop and manage departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required. Work Experience 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required. Additional Preferences Active WI Pharmacy License Prior acute care pharmacy manager experience preferred PGY2 in pharmacy administration preferred At least 2 years of prior acute care pharmacy experience required or 1 year of acute care pharmacy leadership experience Ascension Wisconsin has been providing rewarding careers to healthcare professionals since 1848.
