family office

with holdings across operating businesses, real estate, and investments, is seeking an accomplished

Vice President of Finance

to oversee accounting, reporting, and financial operations. The VP of Finance will work closely with the CFO and family principals to ensure accuracy, transparency, and discipline across all financial functions. This individual will play a key role in

consolidated reporting, investment oversight, process improvement, and system optimization , serving as both a hands-on operator and a strategic partner in managing the family’s wealth and operating entities. Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

Oversee accounting, reporting, and treasury operations across multiple entities, trusts, and partnerships. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated reporting. Prepare financial statements, performance dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for the CFO, family principals, and investment committee. Coordinate with external tax and audit partners to ensure compliance and efficiency. Strategic Finance & Investment Support

Partner with the CFO and principals on capital allocation, investment performance tracking, and long-term planning. Support due diligence and financial analysis for new investments, acquisitions, and divestitures. Maintain and enhance internal financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and portfolio performance monitoring. Process Improvement & Systems

Implement best-in-class financial systems, internal controls, and automation tools to improve visibility and scalability. Develop policies and procedures to strengthen governance and standardize reporting across all entities. Leadership & Collaboration

Manage and mentor accounting staff and external advisors. Build strong relationships with banking partners, attorneys, and investment managers. Uphold a culture of confidentiality, integrity, and service consistent with the family’s values. Qualifications

10–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership within a

family office ,

private equity ,

investment management , or

multi-entity holding company

environment. CPA or MBA preferred. Proven success in financial reporting, consolidation, and investment support. Strong command of GAAP and multi-entity accounting. Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or other ERP systems. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Exceptional communication and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
