General Summary The Vice President of Sales will provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the sales department, focusing on overall accountability and growth-oriented development and performance. Achievement of sales department goals and targets, and the overall alignment of the business strategy plays a critical role in the success of Vyne Dental. This individual is responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the sales organization, leading to annual booking attainment and increased revenue production. Strategic oversight and responsibilities will include supporting business planning, sales performance reporting, quota setting, sales process optimization, and sales training. The VP of Sales fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive inside sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets, while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention.
Create a culture of success that aligns with our values while focusing on ongoing business and goal achievement.
Lead, coach, and inspire a robust sales team that includes Business Development Representatives, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Account Managers, Lead Development Representatives and Practice Revenue Advisors, providing ongoing training, guidance, and support.
Implement sales processes and methodologies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales materials, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our dental software SaaS solutions.
Provide input into sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on team performance, KPI’s, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
Identify market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to continuously improve our sales strategies and differentiate our offerings in the market.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in dental software and SaaS solutions, providing guidance and recommendations for future product development.
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred), or equivalent experience
8+ years leading and growing successful sales teams with positive results, ideally within the software as a service (SaaS) industry
Inside sales experience preferred
Dental industry experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of the dental industry is preferred
Demonstrated success in Regional/National sales team leadership, mentoring, and development of sales teams with focus on continuous improvement
Track record of sales goal development and achievement
Demonstrated success in navigating competitive markets
Significant experience with strategic development, planning, delivery and reporting of key performance metrics
Significant experience with CRM systems and analytics, salesforce automation tools and web demo technologies
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of software solutions and the sales cycles associated with such products.
Ability to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and team meetings.
