Description The Construction Project Manager supports the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. Responsibilities include managing safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation, client relations, field staff, and other duties related to EPC, Construction Management, Construction, and Program Management projects. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to safety programs, trainings, policies, and promote safety & health performance. Oversee daily construction activities and ensure successful project execution. Participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, and establishing critical objectives. Develop and manage client relationships, proposals, and project-related communications. Negotiate contracts, change orders, and participate in risk reviews. Implement project execution plans, including safety, quality assurance, staffing, procurement, and subcontracting plans. Develop staffing plans, train teams, and coordinate activities across disciplines. Manage permits, site layout, mobilization, and demobilization processes. Oversee bid processes, scope of work development, and contract awards. Review and approve project reports, budgets, cash flows, and status updates. Collaborate with engineering teams on deliverables and schedules. Manage contract administration, change management, and claims mitigation. Oversee invoicing, commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities. Implement documentation, insurance, taxes, licensure, and bonding processes. Conduct safety, quality, progress, and financial audits. Facilitate project cost control, scheduling, and work breakdown structures. Manage materials, inventory, and logistics. Verify compliance with contract documents, safety, and quality standards. Oversee project turnover, warranty, and recordkeeping. Coordinate with governmental and industry entities on project matters. Mentor staff and provide performance feedback. Manage community relations, labor agreements, staffing, and craft classifications. Estimate, forecast, and manage project costs and schedules. Ensure equipment availability and manage project-specific activities. Perform other duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of project management experience in construction. Experience may substitute for degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software preferred. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in industries like energy, transmission & distribution, or similar sectors preferred. Understanding of accounting principles and ability to meet driving requirements. Compensation $150,000 - $215,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Includes base salary and potential incentive bonuses.
