Lead Electrical Engineer – E-House Solutions
Join INTECH Automation & Intelligence as the Lead Electrical Engineer – E-House Solutions. This role supports E-House Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream), Petrochemicals, and Utilities. You will lead project execution, ensure compliance with industry standards, and optimize design for safety, maintainability, and cost efficiency. What You’ll Lead And Deliver Lead project design and execution for E-houses, LV & MV switchgear, MCCs, AC & DC UPS, transformers, power management systems, VFDs, and soft starters. Review project RFQs and ensure integrated solution & product complies with customer specifications. Ensure deliverables are in accordance with contractual obligations. Ensure the company standards and practices are followed during project execution. Develop and manage project budgets, detailed schedules, and effort estimates for engineering, construction, and commissioning phases. Perform and approve electrical calculations, system studies, schematics, and layout designs to optimize performance and efficiency. Ensure compliance with QA/QC plans, industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC), and local regulatory requirements. Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews, technical discussions, and supplier evaluations to ensure alignment with project objectives. Validate supplier technical proposals, ensuring compliance with specifications and engineering best practices. Develop and finalize Scope of Work (SOW) documents for contractors and oversee the contractor selection process. Supervise equipment installation and system integration activities while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards. Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tests for LV & MV switchgears / MCCs during Integrated Internal Testing & Final Integrated Testing. Endorse and approve commissioning scope, testing procedures, and acceptance criteria for electrical systems. Prepare and review project documentation, including test reports, engineering design records, and compliance certifications. Manage stakeholder communication, liaising with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in project execution. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams to enhance capabilities and knowledge-sharing. Proficiency in electrical protection schemes, testing methodologies, and system integration strategies. Education: This position requires U.S. nationality and an Electrical P.E. accreditation from a state board. Competencies: Project Management – Expertise in handling large-scale, multi-disciplinary electrical projects. Decision Making & Problem Solving – Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
