Senior Mechanical Engineer
on our team based in Cranberry Township, PA. Position Details
This position is hybrid, typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA, in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation assistance will be provided. We are able to consider all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future, as we cannot sponsor visas for this role. Your Day-to-Day
This engineer will be an individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area, capable of executing highly complex or specialized projects. They will adapt precedent and potentially make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions, in addition to coaching and reviewing work of lower-level professionals as required. Providing technical support for design and analysis work. Performing analytical calculations and evaluations using various engineering tools and methods. Developing documentation related to these calculations and analyses. Developing design documentation for safety and non-safety hardware, including manufacturing drawings, specifications, and qualification reports. Interfacing with technical leads, project managers, and customers to coordinate activities related to the work scope. Occasionally traveling to customer and vendor sites for on-site support, presentations, and issue resolution. Who You Are
As a successful candidate, you will bring: A BS Degree in Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience; 8-10 years preferred. Why Westinghouse?
