A leading power solutions company is seeking a

Senior Electrical Engineer

to join its engineering team and make an immediate impact on both equipment packaging and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. This role involves designing, reviewing, and supporting electrical systems for advanced turbomachinery packages and integrated power plant solutions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle—from design and procurement to manufacturing, testing, and field installation. Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with the engineering team to design systems and components for turbine packages and EPC projects. Develop and review electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and equipment specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Create engineering specifications for equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, distribution systems, motors, MCCs, control cabinets, auxiliary power systems, lighting, and safety systems. Review vendor submissions for compliance. Select and specify components for Bills of Material (BOMs) and coordinate with procurement on sourcing. Actively participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design challenges, implement improvements, reduce costs, and meet customer-specific requirements. Support manufacturing, testing, and field installation with technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, emerging technologies, and innovations in electrical engineering, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs. Perform other duties as assigned to support project and organizational objectives. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, ideally within a design or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, three-phase power, equipment and cable sizing, protective schemes (over/under voltage, overcurrent, differential), area classifications, and enclosure standards (NEMA, IEC/IP). Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, and NEC. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, AutoCAD (or similar tools). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Experience with turbomachinery or gas turbines is preferred. Seniority level
