The Staff Electrical Engineer will work on project teams to create world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments across various sectors including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military facilities. The role involves working through the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans based on budget constraints, design factors, or client needs. Perform electrical design from conceptual phase through design completion. Review and modify production drawings for projects such as power plants, process and industrial facilities, healthcare, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and government/military facilities. Design electrical components aligned with project requirements set by project managers. Apply knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, practices, and procedures. Research and compile project-related data as needed. Update drawings using CAD software, ensuring corrections are made. Prepare information for client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration. Perform field inspections and measurements for public and private clients. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related from an ABET-accredited program. Or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program with successful FE exam completion. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering may substitute for 1 year of experience. Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred. FE or EIT certification preferred. Strong knowledge of engineering techniques, procedures, and codes. Excellent communication skills. Methodical, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other analysis tools. Attention to detail, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills. Compensation
$110,000 - $155,000 annually, based on experience, education, and location. Includes base salary and potential bonus. Benefits
