Alliant has an opportunity for a

Senior Professional Civil Engineer

on our Land Development team at the Minneapolis office. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, be hands-on during the design process, provide technical direction, and use project management skills to plan, organize, monitor, and direct work and budgets. You will participate in business development, including proposals, client meetings, and marketing activities to grow the client network, and mentor professional and graduate engineers. Responsibilities

Utilize project management skills for planning, organizing, monitoring and directing work activities and resources necessary to complete assigned projects. Coordinate and communicate with other engineering staff, city municipalities, and private/commercial land development clients. Manage projects for consistency with established processes, schedules, budgets, design criteria, standards and specifications to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Develop and manage client relationships in the Residential and Commercial markets. Work with senior management to develop strategies to increase market share. Lead, mentor and develop junior staff. Participate in developing strong relationships with clients and staff. Qualifications

8+ years of Land Development design or construction management. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and licensed Professional Engineer. High capacity for self-motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. Strong relationships and contacts with residential/commercial developers, municipal staff and other regulatory agencies. Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Strong project management skills. Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Benefits

The base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $100,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is full-time and Exempt.
