High-Growth Global Solutions Provider in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead and perform safety testing and evaluations of products for compliance with US, Canadian, and international standards (UL, CSA, IEC, EN, etc). Conduct construction reviews, on/off-site inspections, and validation of test setups in line with project scope. Interpret technical documents, schematics, and regulatory clauses to assess compliance. Document test results, write client-facing reports, and clearly communicate project status. Train, mentor, and support junior engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Guide clients through regulatory processes, including identifying non-conformities and recommending solutions. Maintain strong communication with clients, management, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications
BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline). 5+ years’ experience in product safety testing, certification, or a related TIC industry role. Expertise in safety standards (e.g. IEC 60601, 62368, 61010, 60335) across sectors including medical, laboratory, ITE, household, HVAC and machinery. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects. Seniority level
