ThreatConnect is seeking a Director of Engineering for our Risk Quantification (RQ) team. This critical role will lead the continued development of our cyber risk quantification product that leverages big data analytics and high throughput processing. You will drive and deliver on the technical strategy and roadmap and will mentor the team. You will work cross-functionally with peers in engineering as well as leaders in sales and product. This is a remote-first role requiring excellent verbal and written communication across diverse, global teams. The Product

ThreatConnect Risk Quantifier (RQ) enables organizations to rapidly, and in a data-driven, defensible manner, calculate the impact of a cyber attack in financial terms. RQ also provides prioritizations for where the business and security teams should invest resources based on financial metrics and ROI. By bringing together cyber loss and cyber attack data, RQ links the technical and business parts of an organization to enable informed, data-driven decisions that drive risk mitigations. About You

Lead engineering teams to deliver results consistently and sustainably while maintaining a high bar for execution and quality Independently identify and realize strategies that deliver significant value to customers and the business Guide technical strategy, ensuring your teams deliver long-term value aligned with RQ’s priorities Partner with Design, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to build best-in-class products and bring them to market Build and lead an engineering team; coach and mentor to enable the team to do their best work Influence ThreatConnect’s engineering culture and strategy Required Skills

7+ years of engineering leadership experience with deep experience on complex products in a high-growth environment 10+ years of experience in major programming languages with significant .NET experience and front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks (e.g., encryption, authentication, network security) Passion for leading, coaching, and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability Strong decision maker who balances ambiguity, data, speed, and quality Ability to develop vision and strategy and drive execution High emotional intelligence; adaptable to unexpected changes Experience with software governance and agile methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills
