Overview

We are seeking a

Structural Steel Detailer

with any years of experience and strong

AutoCAD

proficiency to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural steel fabrication and erection drawings for highway safety structures, including guardrails, sign structures, overhead supports, and other roadway components. Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed shop and erection drawings using

AutoCAD .

Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and field survey data to create accurate and buildable steel detailing documents.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Perform clash detection, dimension verification, and field-fit reviews.

Revise and update drawings based on engineer feedback or field modifications.

Maintain drawing files, records, and revision history according to company procedures.

Qualifications

Any years

of experience in structural steel detailing (preferably in a highway or civil infrastructure setting).

Proficient in

AutoCAD .

Familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with other detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures, Advance Steel) is a plus but not required.
