Overview DLR Group is an integrated design firm focused on elevating the human experience through design. This opening is for an Electrical Engineer/Designer based in Phoenix, AZ.

Position Summary As an Electrical Engineer at DLR Group you will be responsible for the design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of building types. You will participate in the design process of electrical building systems and prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings and calculations as part of our integrated design teams."

The successful candidate will

Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.

Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.

Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.

Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.

Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited institution.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

6+ years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.

Experience with BIM, specifically Revit.

Preferred Qualifications

LEED Accredited Professional and experience participating in LEED or other green rating system processes.

Interest in sustainable building design.

We also offer a 401(k) plan, employee stock ownership, and bonus opportunities. Compensation is based on location, experience, and skills. Pay range: $76,000 - $110,000 USD.
