Leading the development of the global RWE strategy and execution of evidence generation initiatives, including formulating the research questions, writing study protocol, designing the study methods, analyzing the data, communicating the results, and publishing the findings, to support medical adoption and drive product differentiation across regions for key assets in the oncology portfolio. Represent the GRWE team on assigned cross-functional franchise teams and build strong partnerships with Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access and other cross-functional Internal Evidence Generation Planning (IEG) partners; co-create the RWE strategies. Support the Head of Global RWE for Oncology on RW data and evidence generation strategy budgeting. Serve as functional subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, including regional teams, to ensure real-world evidence is well-understood and appropriately incorporated in internal/external resources. Identify and share best practices regarding RWE study methodologies; expand internal J&J knowledge and capacity to use evolving methodologies in RWE studies, using training and knowledge-sharing approaches. Contribute to refining governance processes and contributing to local and global standards in methodologies. Lead coordination and execution of Evidence Lab to support RWE research concept development and stakeholder alignment through the World-wide IEGP process. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and commercial regulations in conducting research and disseminating scientific information. Qualifications / Requirements
A Master’s degree in health economics and outcomes research, pharmacoepidemiology, health policy research, or related field is required; a doctorate or advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharma, HEOR consulting, or healthcare industry, preferably in HEOR, epidemiology, real-world analytics, market access, or related functions. Experience in executing projects using various types of real-world data, curating RWD via chart review, or conducting economic models is required. Experience in multi-region/country RWE studies is preferred. Knowledge of global healthcare delivery and reimbursement and payor dynamics desirable. Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills to convey research concepts and statistical results to technical and non-technical audiences. Highly motivated with excellent time management, multitasking skills, and intellectual curiosity. Experience in working in a matrix organization is required. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analytics tools (SAS, R, Python, etc.). Location: Raritan, NJ; up to 10% travel, mostly domestic. EEO & Benefits
