Clinical Instructor of Medicine (Fellow) – Division of Transplant Nephrology, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
About the fellowship The University of Southern California, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, offers a fellowship in Transplant Nephrology. The one-year AST-accredited program provides Nephrology graduates with experience in all aspects of kidney transplantation. The curriculum aims to prepare fellows to become the next generation of Transplant Nephrologists, program directors, clinicians, and medical educators. The fellowship includes involvement in medical education, patient safety, quality improvement, and utilization management. Clinical rotations take place at Keck Medical Center (KMC) of USC, a private 411-bed hospital with full UNOS accreditation for multi-organ transplantation including kidney, liver, pancreas, heart and lung transplantation.
Salary and terms The annual base salary for this position is $96,118.29. When extending an offer of employment, USC considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
