Days Summary The Imaging Director is the operations leader for the Imaging Services Departments at Mount St. Mary\'s, Kenmore Mercy, Sisters Hospitals and all affiliated sites including St. Joseph Campus, Lockport Memorial Hospital, and Niagara Ambulatory Campus. As a member of the management team, the Director participates in the strategic direction, planning, development, implementation, coordination and operation of all Imaging Services at Mount St. Mary\'s, Kenmore Mercy, and Sisters Hospitals. The Director is accountable to the System Director of Imaging Services, with dotted line reporting to Mount St. Mary\'s, Kenmore Mercy, and Sisters Hospital administration, in cooperation with the Medical Director of Radiology.
Responsibilities EDUCATION
Baccalaureate degree in Health Care or Health Care Related Fields (Physical/ Natural Sciences) or Management.
In lieu of degree, must have ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in an Imaging/Radiology Department
NYS Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technologist License if applicable
Experience
Minimum five (5) years of progressive managerial/supervisory experience in Imaging/Radiology required
Multi-site supervisory experience preferred
Clinical imaging experience strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Excellent emotional intelligence
Strong analytical ability: ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to negotiate
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
Ability to lead in a union environment
