Part-Time Mental Health Counselor (Therapist)
We are currently in search of an experienced Part-Time Mental Health Counselor (Therapist) for our Baltimore, MD location. The Mental Health Therapist is someone who is innovative and committed to learning and developing their counseling skills, working and collaborating with an innovative, inter-disciplinary team. This position requires someone who is invested in patient care and brings a solution-focused attitude and outlook. Responsibilities
On site clinical presence at our Baltimore, MD location Part-time preferred schedule Monday/Wednesday 700am-300pm + Fridays 800am-1200pm Run a minimum of two group therapy sessions per week, facilitating a supportive environment and promoting recovery goals through collaborative group interventions Provide high quality clinical therapeutic services to patients while assessing and tracking client’s stages of change readiness and recovery Ensure services are provided with client-centered and family-centered healing approach and is delivered through goal specific interventions Conduct Mental Health Assessments from admission as well as existing clients Develops a treatment alliance with patients that is mutual, collaborative, and individualized, meeting changing clinical needs throughout treatment Coordinates care for all appropriate support services, including referral sources, family members, and other support providers Regularly assess treatment progress with the client, and/or the clinical treatment team Provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, group and individual session notes and billing and submit said documentation as specified by Medicaid, Medicare and CARF standards Engages in the following applicable duties case management sessions, including assessments, and PRP Referrals. Ensure compliance with governing agency and reporting requirements Responsible for completing documentation within 24 hours of completing a service and meets state and CARF standards Ensure that the clinical records have complete and accurate forms/documentation for Admissions and Initial PRP Referrals Maintain the clinical records and compile documentation required by CCBH and governing agencies Participate in staff meetings, program clinical team meetings, therapy clinical supervision sessions and in-service as required Ensure confidentiality regarding client records, treatment and client information Exhibit clear, professional, respectful and effective communication when interfacing with clients, coworkers, families and external contacts Ability to work independently and implementing time management and productivity strategies Exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality Stay current with updated research and best practices Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology or clinically related field required Any of the following licenses are required LCPC, LMSW, LGPC, LGSW Active and in good standing in the state of Maryland Prior experience working with adults, substance use patients or co-occurring disorders a plus PHP experience a plus Must be experienced and proficient in using an electronic health record system Benefits

The hourly pay for this position generally ranges between $34 and $44 per hour based on factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, industry knowledge, licensure, education, and skill level.
