Lead Medical Technologist Special Chemistry- FT Day. Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures, assuring rapid and accurate results. Responsible for all technical aspects in the operation of special chemistry services, including training and competency assessment of lab technical staff. Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory examinations and tests, including specialized procedures in the chemistry department. Ensure rapid and accurate results are delivered. Manage technical operations in special chemistry services. Provide training and competency assessment for laboratory staff. Qualifications

Education: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology leading to ASCP certification or equivalent as determined by the Professional Director. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital laboratory; minimum of 2 years working in Special Chemistry preferred. Certification/License/Registration: Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry (ASCP, AMT, AAB with 15 years experience, NCA, or HHS certification or equivalent). Pay Range

$34.90 - $52.35 per hour Benefits and Rewards
