6 Months About the Role We are seeking a
Senior Advanced Systems Engineer
to join a high-impact team driving the development of next-generation
military turbofan engines . This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in
gas turbine engine design ,
systems engineering , and
project cost management . You will lead the
Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RMSS)
workstream for a cutting-edge propulsion program, ensuring technical excellence and program alignment in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead RMSS work packages as
Cost Account Manager (CAM) , managing budget, schedule, and risk. Align engineering activities with system development plans and industry standards (ARP4754, ARP4761). Organize and execute work using
Agile planning principles . Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones. Communicate risks and progress effectively to leadership and stakeholders. Support requirements-based engineering and system safety analysis. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical preferred). Minimum
5 years
of experience in gas turbine engine design, development, or testing. Strong understanding of
EVMS , cost account management, and systems engineering practices. Working knowledge of
ARP4754
and
ARP4761
standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Must be a
U.S. Person
(due to export control regulations). Preferred Skills
PMP or equivalent project management certification. Experience in military aircraft or propulsion systems. Familiarity with Agile methodologies in engineering environments. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex technical challenges. Seniority level
