Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Position is full-time. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience for commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support and supervise team members daily Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM to ensure driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety awareness Inventory and store equipment operation Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety and operational documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Proficient in basic math and Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
At least 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and physical dexterity. Work Environment
Primarily inside, with occasional outside work in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise expected. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
$19.95 - $21.95 per hour. Benefits
