Job Description
Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Also directs drivers for timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support daily supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently Safety knowledge and skills Operate inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge Operate POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution, project, and product recommendation skills Proficiency in sourcing from various channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics English communication skills; Spanish a plus Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience, including supervising daily tasks and achieving goals. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
ASE certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Primarily walking, standing, talking, hearing, and manual handling. Must lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception. Work Environment
Mostly indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and other hazards. Moderate noise level. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
