Qualifications And Desired Experience
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain it
State licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
Familiarity with IEP processes and AAC devices is a plus
Background in pediatric and teletherapy settings is advantageous
Key Responsibilities Include
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, cognition, and swallowing to identify needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals
Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide therapy in-person and via teletherapy platforms
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as required
Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support holistic care
Location: This position is based in Glendale, California, serving students within the school environment.
