As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be immersed in the core of our diagnostic operations. Your typical day will involve:
Executing the full workflow
of molecular testing for clinical oncology samples, from
RNA extraction
and reverse transcriptase to pre-amplification and
real-time PCR . Performing both
manual and automated pipetting
of patient samples and reagents with exceptional precision and accuracy. Upholding the highest quality standards by strictly adhering to the lab's quality control (QC) processes, performing instrument maintenance, and meticulously documenting all activities in our Lab Information System (LIS). Identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting any deviations from established performance specifications, collaborating with leadership to implement corrective actions. Supporting all laboratory licensure and inspection activities ( CLIA/CAP ) by maintaining immaculate records and ensuring procedural compliance. Required: License is a MUST:
You must possess a valid
California State License
as a
Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS)
or a
Generalist Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) . Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field. Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr Seniority level
