Under the direction of the Education & Fine Arts Manager, the Instructor will provide music education to students of all ages and ability levels in a specified instrumental or vocal subject area. Responsibilities include designing instructional programs, preparing lesson plans and materials, demonstrating proper techniques, managing classrooms, and preparing students for performances in Kroc Center recitals and events.

Responsibilities:
Provide relevant, state-of-the-art instruction aligned with program goals.
Teach students from beginner to advanced levels, offering individual and group guidance.
Critique and provide feedback on student performances.
Develop, implement, and evaluate programs based on desired outcomes.
Maintain communication with program managers regarding class development and scheduling.
Demonstrate professionalism with students, patrons, staff, and management.
Communicate classroom changes effectively.
Conduct program evaluations as directed.
Create engaging, energetic, and motivational classes for all ages and skill levels.
Design instructional programs, prepare lesson plans, and demonstrate techniques while managing classrooms.
Communicate effectively before groups of various sizes with enthusiasm.
Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
Implement safety measures, develop safety policies, and oversee risk assessments.
Adhere to all safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a safe environment.
Promote the spiritual, emotional, and physical regeneration of participants through all activities.
Be punctual and prepared for classes, fostering fairness and adherence to policies.
Qualifications:
Relevant teaching or instructional experience.
Certification or degree in related field.
Up-to-date personal insurance, if applicable.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 18 years old.
Strong organizational and independent working skills.
At least one year of experience in group exercise instruction.
Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
Physical ability to instruct classes.
Compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred.
Flexibility to work various days, including weekends and holidays.
Completion of Safe From Harm training and background check required.
