We are excited to be a part of the Vineyard community managing Bella's grocery store in Utah City. Primary Position Duties Key Duties and Responsibilities

Open and/or close the store according to company procedures, including securing the building, setting alarms, and preparing registers and departments for business. Serve as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Director or other leadership, overseeing all departments and maintaining store-wide accountability. Support daily store operations by assisting with receiving deliveries, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. Provide hands-on leadership by working alongside team members, setting the pace, and supporting task completion across all departments. Ensure guest service standards are upheld by assisting customers, resolving concerns, and fostering a friendly and helpful shopping environment. Monitor and delegate tasks left by department managers to ensure they are completed correctly and on time. Respond to urgent issues or incidents with sound judgment and professionalism. Communicate effectively with store leadership by reporting key updates, issues, or successes from shifts. Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment, addressing safety concerns and following proper protocol at all times. Mentor and support team members, helping to build a positive and productive team culture. Guest Service Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide knowledgeable answers to guest inquiries. Address customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner, resolving issues promptly. Promote and exemplify a high level of morale within the store, using honest and open communication with guests and team members. Provide excellent guest service by acknowledging guests promptly and resolving matters accurately. Prepare and process the guest’s requests promptly and finalize their purchase in a friendly manner. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and align with the “Lee’s Way” of doing what’s best for guests, the team, and the company. Be familiar with, and assist customers with use of, Lee’s Marketplace website. Community Engagement Foster relationships with local vendors and community organizations to enhance store presence and customer loyalty. Participate in community events and promotions to drive traffic to the store. Product Handling Stock shelves and maintain displays according to store standards. Assist the Grocery Manager with overseeing product placement and merchandising efforts to enhance the shopping experience. Ensure product freshness by watching for quality, rotating stock and checking expiration dates. Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing stock rooms as needed. Package and label products using a computer program. Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop strategies to improve performance and achieve sales goals. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering processes, and minimize shrinkage. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and availability of products. Cleanliness and Safety Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow and implement all safety and sanitation procedures. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including maintaining a valid food handlers permit. Maintain knowledge of all company safety and accident prevention policies. Ensure safety of all team members through proper training and follow-up of safety policies. Responsible for accident reporting for team members as well as guest accidents in a timely manner. Cash Handling Willingly act as backup Cashier during rushes Operate POS system efficiently and accurately. Accept various forms of payment (cash, card, check, WIC, EBT) Follow store policies on coupons, returns, exchanges, and refunds. Ensure the security of cash and other financial transactions; manage drawer counts and change accuracy. Team Collaboration Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with team members to achieve store goals. Encourage all team members to reach the highest level of teamwork and guest service; support the Lee’s Marketplace Mission and Core Values. Work closely with the Store Director/Asst. Store Director and other department managers to ensure cohesive store operations. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Assist other departments as needed. Operate in a fast-paced environment with tact and patience. Work with team to ensure products are sold before expiration dates. Attend departmental, store and company meetings as required; contribute to profits and revenues and meet productivity standards. Maintain compliance with all company policies and safety standards; promote a harassment-free environment and report potential hazards. Provide coaching and documentation to maintain consistent performance across team members. Be a professional example for all team members to follow. Position Requirements

Age Requirement: 21yrs+ Availability: 6:00am-11:00pm any day Monday-Sunday. Holidays and Weekends required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, twist, sit, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity for handling small objects and operating equipment. Repetitive use of hands and arms to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance. Occasionally stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the store. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Lifting may include floor to shoulder and overhead lifting repeatedly. Occasional use and climbing of step stools or ladders are required. Tools and Machinery

High school diploma or equivalent (Required) 3+ years previous experience in retail (Preferred) Experience in managing inventory and controlling costs Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic computer applications (Preferred) Skills and Abilities Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills; ability to train and develop staff Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to implement solutions quickly and effectively Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to learn new technology quickly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively Strong math skills; ability to read and follow instructions Good verbal communication skills
