POSITION SUMMARY
The Communications Coordinator is an exciting opportunity for a task-oriented, mission-focused individual who can bring both technical and creative skills to our dynamic Communications Department. This is an essential role that connects with many areas of the organization to ensure a timely and effective flow of information. You will create and deliver engaging, mission-aligned content across print, digital, and social platforms, helping to strengthen our public image and inspire participation in our programs, ministries, and spiritual offerings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Content Creation & Production
o Create marketing materials aligned with FRC brand standards, including weekly bulletin, email broadcasts, flyers, signage, and other promotional collateral.
o Capture and edit photography and video content for marketing and event purposes.
•Digital & Social Media
o Maintain social media calendar, including content creation, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
o Support website with weekly uploads and occasional updates.
o Deliver email campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and tone.
• Advertising & Analytics
o Support and optimize Google Ads and Facebook campaigns.
o Use analytics tools to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies for greater impact.
• Online Reputation Management
o Assist in responding to reviews/comments/questions on social and review websites.
• Administrative & Collaborative Tasks
o Place and traffic print orders
o Maintain assets file management using cloud platform (Dropbox).
o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing needs are met.
o Stay informed on trends and technology relevant to communications and digital engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or 4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially ID, PS), Microsoft Office, and Wix or similar web platforms.
• Photography and video editing skills for use across various platforms.
• Able to take direction well and follow through with accuracy and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to write, edit, proofread, and synthesize content clearly and persuasively.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, Google Ads, and social media strategy.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities within a mission-driven environment.
• Passion for service and sharing a message of hope and renewal.
• Available full-time (40 hours/week), work onsite with occasional weekends and evenings.
