As a Catering & Conference Services Manager at The Lodge & Club, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our corporate clients and guests experience unparalleled service and world-class events. Join us in shaping the future of corporate gatherings and setting the standard for excellence! QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:

Four-year college degree, with a preferred major in a related field, i.e. Hotel Management, Business or Marketing, or 2 years prior experience in Catering & Conference Services. TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in conference and catering services management, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage complex budgets and provide cost-effective solutions. Dedication to delivering outstanding service and exceeding client expectations. A valid Driver’s License is required. JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Proficiency in event administrative work to include banquet event orders, diagrams, and service agreements, along with a solid understanding of luxury hotel and resort operations. PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

This role requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS Flexibility:

Participate in all mandatory training and safety courses, as well as attend departmental meetings. Event Coordination:

Oversee all aspects of conference groups booked by the Sales Department and all assigned inquiries for social catering day events. Revenue Optimization:

Finalize event requirements, maximizing revenue through upselling and maintaining effective communication with all hotel departments. Client Liaison:

Serve as a liaison between clients and hotel departments, supervising the setup and execution of planned banquet event orders. Billing Accuracy:

Verify the accuracy of banquet bills and conduct bill reviews upon event completion. Event Supervision:

Supervise the execution of banquet events, ensuring client satisfaction. Meetings & Collaboration:

Plan, attend, and participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients. Service Excellence:

Uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients. Problem Solving:

Address challenges and unexpected issues promptly. Communication:

Keep the Director of Conference & Catering Services informed of any operational matters that require attention. Hotel Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's facilities and operational requirements of all departments. Administrative Support:

Assist with various administrative tasks as needed. Networking:

Attend networking events and become an active member in local organizations/industry associations. Additional Duties:
