$32.00/hr - $38.00/hr TEA Marketing and Communications Coordinator Communication Responsibilities

Specific responsibility to maintain and manage the entire communications program and calendar for TEA, including developing and distributing print and digital publications and communications. Work with the school’s leadership TEAm to accurately depict and actively promote TEA’s brand in all messages, media and communications. Create and oversee content and publications (external and internal), including website content, email communication, annual report, social media, and any other media used to communicate with various audiences and constituencies. Work closely with the Development office to support and promote annual giving campaigns, communiTEA events, and the annual gala, including overseeing the production of an annual Fund-the-Need video, sponsor and live auction slides, and all audio-visual needs in the months leading up to and including the night of the event. Ensure consistency of branding and messaging regarding educational philosophy, instructional practice, core values, and public purpose of the school to internal and external communities, as well as maintain accuracy of all facts and content. Capture and share video at all school wide presentations, including but limited to Back to School events, State of the School, Theater Performances, Passage Celebrations, Capstone presentations, etc. Create and maintain website pages related to various events and activities at the school, including but not limited to capital campaigns, alumni relations, DEIB, annual giving campaigns, the Gala, Grandparents/Special Friends Day and senior intensives/passage presentations. Review and publish TEA’s parent association bi-weekly communication, “What’s on Tap” Review and Publish the school’s TEA Times, a monthly newsletter. Ensure all school events, fieldwork dates are added in a timely manner to the school calendar. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in an educational setting. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a passion for storytelling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse audiences. Proficient in social media management tools and content creation platforms (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize deadlines Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for education, a love for the outdoors, and a commitment to the mission of inspiring lifelong learners through expeditions. Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) Experience working in a non-profit or mission-driven organization Benefits
