Tenure-Track Faculty Position - Bellisario College of Communications The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State seeks an outstanding faculty member for a tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor, focusing on communication and climate. The Bellisario College seeks candidates with a record of publishing and securing external funding for work focusing on the role of media narratives in shaping attitudes and behaviors regarding climate and the environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who take a social scientific approach to understanding how and why different types of media narratives affect different types of audiences\' attitudes and behaviors. The successful candidate will assume a key role in interdisciplinary research collaborations related to climate change on Penn State\'s campus as the position is co-funded by Penn State University\'s Institute of Energy and the Environment (IEE). The successful candidate should be a collaborative leader who will promote and enhance excellence and innovation in interdisciplinary research, as the hire will also be a part of Penn State\'s Climate Consortium. A Ph.D. in communication, mass communication, journalism, or a related field is required. The candidate will also be expected to mentor graduate students who are interested in studying climate communication as well as engage in other teaching and service duties for the Bellisario College and Penn State.
