Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to successfully manage USF World’s social media channels through high quality content, data analytics, and engagement to drive growth. The position will also design digital and print marketing and communications materials for USF World social media, monthly newsletter, and events including invitations, digital programs & flyers, signage, visual aids, presentations, and swag. Must possess the ability to incorporate high quality creative graphic images and designs while working within USF brand guidelines.

This position will also update materials previously designed and collect content for new collateral materials. The Marketing and Communication Specialist is highly skilled in graphic design programs, specifically Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, to develop creative assets for posting on social media, on the website, and in print. The Specialist works with leadership and staff across USF World for marketing and communications materials, social media content, and overall branding and messaging consistency. The position may also be asked to collaborate on special projects and assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage social media: Create high quality content to increase engagement with data analytics; manage USF World’s social media channels, including organizing a content calendar and coordinating social media across USF World communications units; create social media graphics and lead social media campaigns.

Design using InDesign: Develop high quality creative layouts, design and text for presentations, flyers, event materials, brochures, marketing campaigns, swag, signage, website, and other communications collateral.

Digital Marketing & Newsletter: Design and organize content for Bulls Run the World monthly newsletter and other digital marketing initiatives; maintain distribution lists, coordinate with feature subjects, promote on social media, and maximize reach.

Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting at USF World events.

Qualifications Minimum Qualification:

This position requires a High School diploma and 5 years of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of directly related experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualification:

Excellent social media and digital branding skills; proficiency in graphic design using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, etc.; excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience posting and engaging on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X).

Proficient writing and editing skills; strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities; effective communication skills.

Degree Equivalency Clause:

Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
